Self Love Requires Honesty | #SLS

I've come to realize, the hard way, that I've had and still have a lot of healing to do! Self Love is not an overnight thing *insert Percy Sledge song*. It takes time to reach a comfortable level of contentment with self. It's a journey; one of upward toil but one of positive growth. In our journey of Self Love, it is integral that we seek to know ourselves, accept who we are and live freely in our truth.  In seeking to know and embrace our truest selves, a process of self reflection and introspection helps. The trauma; experiences that we go through have fashioned us into the persons that we are today. Our personalities, our self esteem; the way we interact with others, our imposed standards, our expectations are all influenced by the way we see ourselves; by the way we think and feel about ourselves. Orange Peel Tea | ☕ Tea Time With Tiff ☕

Have you ever had Orange Peel Tea?
This is definitely one of my favourite teas because its both delicious and easy to make.

About to have an orange for breakfast? Don't throw away the skin. After peeling, you can hang it on a hook in your kitchen and as the days go by, watch it dry (this is what my mama used to do). I actually just leave it in an open bowl where the air can dry it. Thorough open-air drying can take a few days... I just let it do it's thing while I have another type of tea! Which ever way you choose to dry the peel is up to you. When it's ready, it's usually stiff.

How to make the tea?

In a tea pan, put the amount of water, equivalent to the amount of tea you want to drink.
I measured using my tea cup/mug.
Rinse piece of the dry peel and place it in the pan.

Let the peel boil. It is ready when the water turns yellow-orange...
the colour of the peel.

Pour the tea into your favourite teacup.
I used 1 tbsp Brown Sugar to sweeten this tea...
You can also use honey.

When it's sipping-temperature you can enjoy!

This #TTWTiff (Tea Time With Tiff) Tea Recipe is the featured tea for the First Episode of my New YouTube Vlog Series!
It's great for relieving gas. Hope you enjoy!
