Self Love Requires Honesty | #SLS

I've come to realize, the hard way, that I've had and still have a lot of healing to do! Self Love is not an overnight thing *insert Percy Sledge song*. It takes time to reach a comfortable level of contentment with self. It's a journey; one of upward toil but one of positive growth. In our journey of Self Love, it is integral that we seek to know ourselves, accept who we are and live freely in our truth.  In seeking to know and embrace our truest selves, a process of self reflection and introspection helps. The trauma; experiences that we go through have fashioned us into the persons that we are today. Our personalities, our self esteem; the way we interact with others, our imposed standards, our expectations are all influenced by the way we see ourselves; by the way we think and feel about ourselves. Faith In The Journey | Dr. Dominique Baptiste DDS

We have so much to be thankful for! Yes, "WE". You do, and I do! If you are alive and reading this, God has blessed you in a mighty way. Your being alive is a testimony to His power to protect, provide and keep His promises. It also means that He has given you additional time to live out His purpose in your life. All this is up to you because He has blessed you with the wonderful gift of choice. It's up to you to choose love over hate, to choose positivism over negativity and to choose faith over fear.

It's really not an easy road. While we are choosing, we have the enemy to contend with. It's important that we remember that we can't overcome his obstacles alone. God is with us every step of the way,  with stretched out hands. Every decision for Him is an acceptance of His hand. The enemy's job is to drive a wedge between us and God and he's had years of studying us, under his belt. To keep the connection between us and God tight, we have to be devoted, be consecrated, be daily seeking after His love. It's a daily stride, not a one-off miracle. Trusting in God and accepting His hand requires Faith.

My Current Face Moisturizers: Pond's Clarant B3 (February 2013)

Pond's Clarant B3: Normal To Oily Skin For many years I have sworn by this face product. I have been using it to moisturize my face during both the day and the night.  It does exactly what it promises. The packaging states that it is a "Dark Spot Correcting Moisturizer". It has indeed, cleared up any marks that was left by untimely blackheads.  It also states that it "Evens Skin Tone in 2 Weeks and "Reduces the appearance of Dark Spots In 4 Weeks". These statements are also true for me. Some people may be worried that skin bleaching/whitening may occur, this is not likely at all. It is Dermatologist Tested, Hypoallergenic and it Won't Clog Pores.  I would recommend that you try a small bottle to determine how much you like it (if it works for you).
