I've come to realize, the hard way, that I've had and still have a lot of healing to do! Self Love is not an overnight thing *insert Percy Sledge song*. It takes time to reach a comfortable level of contentment with self. It's a journey; one of upward toil but one of positive growth. In our journey of Self Love, it is integral that we seek to know ourselves, accept who we are and live freely in our truth. In seeking to know and embrace our truest selves, a process of self reflection and introspection helps. The trauma; experiences that we go through have fashioned us into the persons that we are today. Our personalities, our self esteem; the way we interact with others, our imposed standards, our expectations are all influenced by the way we see ourselves; by the way we think and feel about ourselves. It's 'human nature' to first be negative before positive and unappreciative before we see good, so in order to change our thinki...

I've been on an Inspiration high this year! It's been a habit of mine to continuously be seeking to learn, grow and live a fulfilling life with all the information that comes my way. I've actually been watching interviews and videos from entrepreneurs, people who have been successful in their careers and even people who have lots of experience with life and love.
It's so easy to see the negative posts, comments, news reports, twitter feeds and shows. I believe that we must make it an active part of our day to screen out the unwanted and highlight the positive. By this, I don't mean to avoid the news and refrain from social media, I mean that you should decide what you allow to take up your time and to rule your mind. One way I do this is by ensuring that I follow pages, people and hashtags that only share positivism. Another way is by avoiding aimlessly scrolling for long periods of time.
With eyes of discernment, I managed to surf the waves of influence and put together a list of the Top 5 Celebrity Women of Power that inspired me this year and I featured them in the 3rd episode of The CupcakeDelect Podcast. ♥ #TeaTimeWithTiff Tea
Thank you X-A-vier for the Tea Inspiration!
5 Simple Ingredients: Garlic, Ginger, Green Bay Leaf, Water, Brown Sugar.
I Boil Water to a rumble, take the stove off, then add 1 grated garlic clove and about two teaspoons of grated ginger. I add the Bay Leaf and then I leave to steam in the pot a while.
It's ready when the water absorbs the colour of the ingredients and the aroma permeates the room.
I add sugar to taste and voilà. Makes enough tea for 2.

Since I have naturally kinky-curly hair, I decided to try two products from the Worlds of Curls brand to see how they'll work for me. I purchased both the Curl Activator and the Curly Pudding. These type of products are known to either define curls or stretch them out but after reading many product reviews, I've come to realize that the outcomes are different from person to person given the different hair types, techniques of use and styling. Let's Start with the Curl Activator! Worlds of Curls Curl Activator This products claims to be 3 steps in one; Curl Activator, Conditioner and Oil Sheen. It advertises that it's for extra dry hair. I've had this product for more than a year. I purchased a 32oz container, deciding that I'd try all the possible ways to use this product. On the back of the container, it says: Worlds of Curls Curl Activator (for extra dry hair) is another key step in Our Total Hair Care Maintenance System. Worlds of Curls Acti...

This week I'm happy to share what is only just a taste of how I've been tackling goal setting when it comes to my Spiritual & Emotional Well Being. I've already been practicing and thinking of new ways to grow and maintain a healthy relationship with the Love Source, God. Year by year, I've become further convicted that the enemy is actively working to separate us from God's love but Romans 8:37 says that we are more than conquerors through Him that loves us! Yes! We must understand that sin separates us from God; and sin is disobedience to the law, but thank God for His Grace, with Him we are made strong to stand! We are able to put on the full armour of God when we maintain a close relationship with Him; when we do His will from our hearts! I invite you to get into serious goal setting mode when it comes to thinking about and planning for your Spiritual & Emotional Well Being. What this means to me can be summed up in the following: Tips to Setti...
